Don’t Drink The Water in NYC

Thursday, June 30th, 2005

Great. Just great. I’ve drunk about a gallon of water already today. Good thing I’m not pregnant.
NEW YORK (AP) City Health Department officials are warning that because of recent heavy rainstorms, higher than normal levels of particles have been detected in the City’s drinking water supply, which can interfere with the water chlorination process.

MIT Weblog Survey

Thursday, June 30th, 2005

Check out this MIT Weblog Survey and answer some questions about blogging and weblogs. I love taking these things because I imagine what kind of assumptions they will make from my answers. I’m really curious about the results. It’s quick and easy. Something you can do in a few minutes on a boring afternoon.

Design Clarity

Thursday, June 30th, 2005

When you are a beginning designer, you spend most of your time idolizing design magazines and annuals, with dreams of appearing in those hallowed pages of the design masters from around the world. You pore over each magazine as soon as it comes; you read every word hoping to glean some of the creativity that [...]

Today I’m Feeling…

Monday, June 27th, 2005

…not very inspired. I blame the heat. I blame all the excellent bad food I ate this weekend. So while I search for any semblance of humor and or writing talent, here’s a nice rant by the son of the ersatz greatest American*.
Democrats out of touch with American values? Oh, I don’t know. [...]

Exhibit 5a Desktops

Friday, June 24th, 2005

I’ve gotten a few requests for some desktop versions of my Green Apple Header image over the past few months, so I’ve put together a few different versions that you can download. If you’re looking for a size that isn’t here or none of these work for you, let me know and I’ll try and [...]
